Why does Koha allow one to delete an item record that is in use!? It should be
simple enough to check it's status before permitting the record to be deleted.
It does that with patron records, why not item records?

Hi Sharon

I have seen this happen before when an item has been deleted, while it
was still on issue.
I don't know of a way in Koha to get these off the record. The easiest
way is to do it in the database.
