I have a question - there is already one such editor used by Koha, TinyMCE. Which one should we prefer? I don't have much of an opinion either way (beyond a strong opinion that we shouldn't be using *both*), but here's what some Googling turned up: elRTE -------------- - built on and uses jQuery and jQuery/UI; since we're considering jQuery/UI to replace YUI, there's some possible synchronicity here - not yet packaged for Debian - fairly young project TinyMCE -------------- - packaged for Debian - there's a supported jQuery variant - been around for years Since TinyMCE is used by only one page, if we decide to switch to elRTE (or to something else entirely), it won't be a big deal. Has anybody done a direct comparison?
