It's ultimately up to Henri to decide how he wants to use the trees, but my understanding was that koha-maintenance.git was used temporarily as part of preparing for the 3.0.2 release, and that the 3.0.x branch in koha.git is ultimately where you need to go to to fetch not only releases in the 3.0.x series, but ongoing work.
