OK, I think I got it. But then, maybe the definition of the syst. preference should be a little more explicit. Like Mason, I had trouble (just yesterday, actually) guessing what this might be about. It should at least specify the part about 942$n in MARC21. But then that brings up a further question : why just 942$n in marc21?
