However, what would be even more useful are getting sign offs for some bugs: Bug 14533<https://bugs.koha-community.org/bugzilla3/show_bug.cgi?id=14533> - koha-create --use-db option shouldn't create any db or db user https://bugs.koha-community.org/bugzilla3/show_bug.cgi?id=14533 Bug 18564<https://bugs.koha-community.org/bugzilla3/show_bug.cgi?id=18564> - koha-common.cnf parsing is too restrictive https://bugs.koha-community.org/bugzilla3/show_bug.cgi?id=18564 Bug 9409<https://bugs.koha-community.org/bugzilla3/show_bug.cgi?id=9409> - koha-create --request-db should be able to accept a dbhost option https://bugs.koha-community.org/bugzilla3/show_bug.cgi?id=9409 These three bugs would let me set environment variables to build a temporary password file to then setup access to a pre-existing remote database. Granted, there might still be problems: Bug 16690<https://bugs.koha-community.org/bugzilla3/show_bug.cgi?id=16690> - Installing DB on remote server fails without *.* permissions https://bugs.koha-community.org/bugzilla3/show_bug.cgi?id=16690 Which tangentially touches on: Bug 17237<https://bugs.koha-community.org/bugzilla3/show_bug.cgi?id=17237> - Stop koha-create from creating MySQL users without host restriction https://bugs.koha-community.org/bugzilla3/show_bug.cgi?id=17237 Though, there is nothing to sign off yet for this one. I’d prefer to not custom roll a distribution, but rather seek community assistance in pushing these bugs through. However due to time constraints, I probably will roll one, even if it is probably not the best way to roll one (https://wiki.koha-community.org/wiki/Building_Debian_Packages_-_The_Easy_Way).
