Hi Paul I am still working on that one. I submitted recently bug 11826 as a small step in-between. But getting patches inside Koha takes time :) I could also send you some patches (used in production on 3.8).

We have some 2,000 German biblios to catalogue, and (after corresponding with Deutsche Nationalbibliothek who only use SRU and have decommissioned their Z39.50 server) are wondering whether to try and catalogue manually (we have no native German speaking cataloguer), wait for Bug 6536, or find another German Z39.50 (which is proving a tad challenging.) Thoughts anyone?
