The item count checked $rechash->{itembumber}, a typo for itemnumber, so it was always 0. Neither value is used by marc21_linking_section.tt, so this patch removes the code instead of fixing the typo. Steps to follow: 1. Go to Administration > MARC bibliographic frameworks > Default framework > 773 > Edit subfields > w, and set Plugin to marc21_linking_section.pl. Make sure the subfield is visible in the editor. 2. Go to Cataloging > New record, click the plugin icon next to 773$w and search for a common word (ideally matching records with items). 3. Note the results (title, author, publisher...), go to the next page, then choose a record and check that 773 is filled in. 4. Apply the patch. 5. Repeat steps 2 and 3: the results and the filled-in values are the same, and there are no new warnings in the logs. 6. Check that the code is gone: git grep -n "itembumber\|totitem" cataloguing/value_builder/marc21_linking_section.pl returns nothing.
