--- Comment #13 from Aleisha Amohia <[email protected]> --- Created attachment 207276 --> https://bugs.koha-community.org/bugzilla3/attachment.cgi?id=207276&action=edit Bug 42807: Add profiles to Administration module To test (assumes KTD): 1) Log into the database and drop and recreate it. koha-mysql koha_kohadev drop database koha_kohadev; create database koha_kohadev; 2) Restart services yarn js:build restart_all 3) Go to the staff interface localhost:8081 4) Go through the installer, set all the defaults. 5) Go through the onboarding tool, and choose 'No profile' when you reach the Koha profiles step. Log in to Koha. 6) Go to Koha administration. Notice the new link to 'Koha profiles'. Click the link. 7) Confirm the profiles form shows similarly to the onboarding tool. Confirm you can choose between one of the two available options, 'Community/Volunteer' and 'No profile'. 8) Choose 'Community/Volunteer' and validate the profile description makes sense. Submit your choice. 9) Confirm you're shown a confirmation message when the page reloads which contains all of the changes made. Notice that a new SELF patron category has been created for self-registration. 10) Choose the 'Community/Volunteer' profile again and Submit the form. 11) This time, the confirmation message should not show that a SELF patron category has been created - Koha will not create one if a categorycode SELF already exists.
