--- Comment #25 from Martin Renvoize (ashimema) <[email protected]> --- Created attachment 205489 --> https://bugs.koha-community.org/bugzilla3/attachment.cgi?id=205489&action=edit Bug 42790: (QA follow-up) Fail closed when the extend-booking conflict check errors The conflict-check fetch in the Extend booking modal had no error handling: a network error or non-OK response silently resolved to an empty booking list, so the date picker showed no disabled days and no maxDate cap as if there were no conflicting bookings at all. Staff could then pick a genuinely conflicting date, with only the server-side renewal check as a backstop. Fail closed instead: on any conflict-check failure, disable the Confirm button and show an inline error, re-enabling it the next time the modal opens for a new booking.
