There are always holds that cannot be filled because there are no items to
fulfill the request. It could be because there are no items left on the record,
the item is missing or long overdue. Every library team uses a set of reports
to try and find those holds, so the stock team may either order a new item or
cancel the hold. Instead of those disparate reports, it would be useful if
there could be a tool in the Circulation module that would list those holds.
I think criteria should be:
- Bib record with no items and no ongoing acquisition order
- All items either have a lost status, a damaged status, a not for loan status
or are long overdue.
