It used to be that submitting an empty barcode input field when a patron's
account was open in Circulation would clear the page (the same behavior as the
"clear screen" buton offers now). Since inclusion of Bug 4389 this action has
been co-opted to pop up a quick slip print window. A system preference should
be added to allow the library to choose which behavior they want.
