Issuer is using 4.0.4 on OSX. With my Windows environment, all the GSiK screenshots are displayed fine. Then I think this issue will be OSX specific one. But I don't have OSX environment, and I can't investigate this. If you could have a time, try Start KiCad project manager -> Help menu -> "Getting Started in Kicad" and check if screenshots are displayed or not. If you encounter this issue, could you check the path of .png files and place of html files.
