As early as in the fundraising video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uhcMGQ32Xw0 for v6 (before the plans for 5.1 existed) "improved drawing tools" were introduced and apparently some work was already done by then. I don't find this anywhere in the roadmaps. Has it been cancelled or just forgotten from the roadmap?
