And here’s a comparison of OpenGL with and without the new patches: Pre-patches, subpixel high quality. Flared wire widths and symbol outline, somewhat challenged Zener graphics, and so-so text:
Pre-patches, supersampling x2. Wire widths and symbol outline not consistent but un-flared, good Zener graphics, good text: With patches, subpixel high quality. Similar issues to subpixel high quality pre-patches, but junction dot even worse: With patches, 2x supersampling. Good wire widths and symbol outline, good junction dot, good Zener graphics (although with anomaly), but worst text: > On 11 Feb 2019, at 20:11, Jeff Young <j...@rokeby.ie> wrote: > > Nightly works as expected (which is to say the anti-aliasing settings make a > difference, and turning it off makes the canvas look pretty awful). > > <PastedGraphic-12.png> > > > >> On 11 Feb 2019, at 19:44, Seth Hillbrand <s...@hillbrand.org >> <mailto:s...@hillbrand.org>> wrote: >> >> Am 2019-02-11 14:33, schrieb Jeff Young: >>> No. >>> I’m running it directly out of my dev tree, but presumably that won’t >>> make any difference. >>> Would something here have changed between High Sierra and Mojave? >>> (I’m still on High Sierra.) >> >> Can you download the nightly build and see if it is the same for you there? >> That would eliminate the build differences as an issue. > > _______________________________________________ > Mailing list: https://launchpad.net/~kicad-developers > Post to : kicad-developers@lists.launchpad.net > Unsubscribe : https://launchpad.net/~kicad-developers > More help : https://help.launchpad.net/ListHelp
