Hi all, In my recent endeavours to teach myself to create hobbyist PCB's, I've landed on KiCAD as my weapon of choice (open source, mature, actively developed). I found the learning curve quite steep though (the Contextual Electronics youtube tutorial as well as the recent Hackaday tutorial were indispensable aides *), and I keep coming across things that could be improved.
I'm hoping to be able to contribute to the development of KiCAD with an initial interest in improving the usability and make it easier for new users to get started. I'll try to fix a few of the starter bugs while getting to know the code base and we'll see how it goes :) *) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JN_Y93RTdSo&list=PLy2022BX6Eso532xqrUxDT1u2p4VVsg-q https://hackaday.com/2016/11/17/creating-a-pcb-in-everything-kicad-part-1/ Regards, -- Tarjei Knapstad Norway _______________________________________________ Mailing list: https://launchpad.net/~kicad-developers Post to : kicad-developers@lists.launchpad.net Unsubscribe : https://launchpad.net/~kicad-developers More help : https://help.launchpad.net/ListHelp
