Hi,
This affects Mint users directly. We are stuck at 14.04. The next big
version will be based on Ubuntu 16.04 and will be ready a couple of
months after Ubuntus release.
So I will be using Geriatric Giraffe two or three months more.
I will be translating KiCad development versions on Windows then (it
looks like I can't get rid of it).
