Hi nnn, I do not understand your point about having values on the PCB. NOBODY in the industry put values on the PCB. To facilitate the assembly, a lot of companies I worked for used a FAB drawing with one inch grid, and then generate a list of parts with the location on the grid. That’s more than enough to locate a part when troubleshooting. You can do the same easily.
