Finally finished work on the new icon set. Stored in new branch:

Features:
fully upgraded icon set;
simple style;
uniform colors;
pixel aligned sources (*.svg);
canvas of the sources has the same size as the target images (for
better quality);
text of the images are formed by lines (independent of fonts);
