... all that duplication was really ugly!!! During today merge I also learnt about the intptr_t; is that thing from C99 or it's newer?
By the way trying to use gcc 4.8.0 gives some metric ton of warnings from boost (unused typedefs); hope they 'fix' boost ASAP.
