Tomé, This seems like a useful change. The problem will likely be finding someone with the time to work on it. A change like this will have a fairly low priority compared to some of the other projects like the new schematic file format currently in progress. You also need to clarify the behavior of this tool. Are you looking for something like the trace highlight tool in PCBNew where when you click on a trace it highlights the trace and all traces connected to it? Or are you looking for a dialog to enter the net name and highlight and show the net? Once you have this behavior defined you can file a bug report and set it's status to wishlist.
