Hi, I wanted to ask if there's a particular reason why KiCAD uses its own file formats. Why KiCAD doesn't simply use for example XML?
Also I wanted to ask if there's any plan to add support for using white spaces in the name of schematic symbols or footprints. I think the problem of not supporting white spaces in names is because of using the white space as a seperator in the library files.
