Hi guys, For those who don't know, we have moved on with WordPress at the moment, in order to get things going. However, we need content and having a WordPress platform allows us to add whichever content we feel like.
So, this is my proposal for http://kibo.computer/ > We need our logo on the top left, replacing the words Kibo and keeping our - apparent - motto right underneath it. > News can and should be used as our blog. Who wants to be our content editor? That would imply creating frequent articles updating our visitors in regard to our project status. For instance, for now we need articles explaining we are recruiting, and so on. > I strongly disagree having a public page like "Get Involved". Instead, we should have a recruitment page only and there we would show exclusively what we are looking for. Perhaps having a voluntary scheme set up would be nice as well. > Services page is crucial. However, as we know, perhaps we should keep that to what we can do for now - let's wait for more answers to my form and then add the 2-3 most common ones. > The about page should explicitly explain who we are, what we want do and why we do what we do. We already have some texts about that. > Our team page. Well, this is a rough one. In the future we might have too many people involved and it may become quite impossible to add everyone. On the other hand, I prefer having brief summaries of who we are instead of a random text with those statements that Keith suggested. Perhaps we can have both and that would be perfect. Also, explaining our hierarchy would be beneficial, so that people would know who to reach. > Contact page is fine as it is currently, assuming the emails are already configured appropriately. > Projects: Well, it may be interesting to add but definitely complicated. I bet most companies will disapprove the fact that if we work with them, we'll announce it on our website. However, and one way to show people our project, is to add here non-profit projects that we may embrace and also other huge past projects. This is my proposal and I believe it is more than enough content. What do you think? 2014-12-04 21:58 GMT+00:00 Emily Gonyer <emilyyr...@gmail.com>: > Perfect!
