Question #149311 on Keryx changed: https://answers.launchpad.net/keryx/+question/149311
Status: Open => Answered Chris Oliver proposed the following answer: Hey ceg, Keryx pretty much recreates the logic inside APT in Python. It's primarily just dependency handling. The reason I never used AptMedium or any of the other projects out there was because I needed something to run on Windows so I could download packages from school and work. We weren't allowed to boot into a LiveCD either. It would make development a lot simpler, but unfortunately we've had to recreate most of the logic by hand. -- You received this question notification because you are a member of Keryx Development Team, which is an answer contact for Keryx. _______________________________________________ Mailing list: https://launchpad.net/~keryx Post to : keryx@lists.launchpad.net Unsubscribe : https://launchpad.net/~keryx More help : https://help.launchpad.net/ListHelp
