Hi First off, great job for writing the application! I have been longing for an easy way to install packages on an offline ubuntu PC for a long time. Keryx looks like it should fit that mould perfectly.
I wanted to ask this question on the forums, but after trying to register 4 or 5 times in a row with different usernames, passwords and email addresses and being told "Your details are considered to come from a potential spammer. If you know this is incorrect, please try registering again using a different username or password." I gave up. You might want to look into that... On to my questions/comments. I think there might be a bug somewhere. If I run keryx for the first time and create a project the following output at terminal is generated: " python keryx.py Loading config: /home/izak/Downloads/installation/keryx_0.92.3/linux/keryx.conf wxWidgets interface loaded Plugin loaded: ColorMap v1.0 Plugin loaded: Search v1.0 Plugin loaded: Debian v0.92.2 Created project: izak-desktop Starting job 1 in producer thread: GUI remains responsive Downloading 0 file(s) Traceback (most recent call last): File "/usr/lib/python2.6/dist-packages/wx-2.8-gtk2-unicode/wx/lib/mixins/listctrl.py", line 121, in __OnColClick self._colSortFlag[col] = int(not self._colSortFlag[col]) IndexError: list index out of range Starting job 1 in producer thread: GUI remains responsive Downloading 0 file(s) " That IndexError seems like a problem. Also, while it successfully saves some package lists to the lists folder, no lists are displayed in the GUI. Is this the correct behaviour? I am watching the devolpment of keryx with keen interest; I think it should be a part of the default CD installation for Ubuntu!
