Hello, I am very pleased to announce that about 2 weeks ago after a kernel- firmware update my Synaptics touch pad is now fully fonctionnal when before that it was not working at all.
* Ultrabook HP Spectre 13-h201ef x2 * - Release: Ubuntu 14.04.1 (trusty) 64-b - Kernel: 3.13.0-32-generic (eg. the current one) - FIX: linux-firmware 1.127.7 (but the fix happened with an earlier version, really don't know which one) - Touch Pad SYNAPTICS v.103u9 - GPointing is also now fully working Thanks to everybody who have worked on this issue and have found the right fix.
