Title: [Trusty] gpio-dwapb backport causes Kconfig recursion Status in “linux” package in Ubuntu: Fix Released Status in “linux” source package in Trusty: Fix Committed Status in “linux” source package in Utopic: Fix Released Bug description: You'll notice from the arm64 buildlogs that since we incorporated the gpio-dwapb driver in f94487d4453f8e96faae8f638e165e7fd961af4a, we've started getting this error: scripts/kconfig/conf --silentoldconfig Kconfig kernel/irq/Kconfig:41:error: recursive dependency detected! kernel/irq/Kconfig:41: symbol GENERIC_IRQ_CHIP is selected by GPIO_DWAPB drivers/gpio/Kconfig:124: symbol GPIO_DWAPB depends on IRQ_DOMAIN kernel/irq/Kconfig:46: symbol IRQ_DOMAIN is selected by GENERIC_IRQ_CHIP Though this shouldn't have any impact on Ubuntu builds, it is an annoying regression for people trying to do their own builds of Ubuntu source.
