Thank you -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Kernel Packages, which is subscribed to linux in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/621720 Title: Digital Media Card Reader HP Pavilion dv7 is not recognized (without reboot with media card inserted) Status in “linux” package in Ubuntu: Fix Released Bug description: I have a HP Pavilion dv7 2080eo multimedia laptop and on Ubuntu 10.04 everything works fine EXCEPT the digital media card reader. When I perform the 'lspci' command in terminal or 'dmesg', the card reader is not shown in the list. Even so when I enter a MMC or XD card in the slot nothing happens. The card reader has never worked for me before on this laptop and I think that there is no driver what so ever available for it. Hopefully I'm wrong and there is a solution to this slightly annoying problem.
