Was this bug ever moved to a ubuntu bug as Christopher M suggested? I have the same (or at least similar) problem on a Acer V5-171 with Atheros AR9462. I didn't know what the best practice was so I made a new bug reported and made it a duplicate for the time being. https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux/+bug/1324353
Using 14.04 TT workarounds that didn't work for me: disable ipv6 add options to ath9k and reboot: nohwcrypt=1 blink=1 enable_diversity=1 btcoex_enable=1 (added one by one) I read about changing power options to FULL, which I didn't manage to figure out how to do in 14.04 Problems were existent in Ubuntu 13.04 as well. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Kernel Packages, which is subscribed to linux in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1040943 Title: Wireless -very- frequent disconnects in LinuxMint13 - Atheros AR9462 Status in The Linux Mint Distribution: New Status in “linux” package in Ubuntu: Invalid Status in Debian GNU/Linux: New Bug description: Wireless Connection disconnects very frequently, almost about every 15 minutes.
