This bug is awaiting verification that the linux-azure/5.15.0-1092.101
kernel in -proposed solves the problem. Please test the kernel and
update this bug with the results. If the problem is solved, change the
tag 'verification-needed-jammy-linux-azure' to 'verification-done-jammy-
linux-azure'. If the problem still exists, change the tag 'verification-
needed-jammy-linux-azure' to 'verification-failed-jammy-linux-azure'.

If verification is not done by 5 working days from today, this fix will
be dropped from the source code, and this bug will be closed.

See https://wiki.ubuntu.com/Testing/EnableProposed for documentation how
to enable and use -proposed. Thank you!

Bug description:
  SRU Justification

  [ Impact ]

  * Microsoft request to fix hyperv when nested kvm guest launched using
  Secure Boot

  [ Fix ]

  * SAUCE (no-up) patch on LKML under RFC "KVM: SVM: Workaround overly
  strict CR3 check by Hyper-V"

  [ Test Plan ]

  * Compile tested
  * Microsoft to test further

  [ Where problems could occur ]

  * This patch modifies some behavior of KVM and prevents putting regular
values in the CR3
    register which cause problems with Hyper-V. The change is localized, but
could cause regressions
    in Hyper-V virtualization if a code path depends on these values in CR3.

  [ Other info ]

  * SF#00409185
