Public bug reported: [ Impact ]
* Multiple issues are noticed when validating Arrow Lake hardware after suspend. - An ethernet interface cannot be up after suspend - LP: #2111232 - Found Network Controller configurations differences while running suspend stress tests - LP: #2110284 - Found DRM Device configurations differences while running suspend stress test - LP: #2110284 [ Fix ] Fix has been pointed out by intel by integrating https://patchwork.kernel.org/project/linux- pm/patch/20250207225615.401235-7-xi.par...@linux.intel.com/ It has been integrated in 6.15 : - bd820906ea9d platform/x86/intel/pmc: Add Arrow Lake U/H support to intel_pmc_core driver 4 other commits has been picked in the way but are only refactoring and targeting only this specific driver. [ Test Plan ] * Use targeted hardware to go into S3 and check for all interfaces working. [ Where problems could occur ] * Regression in other suspend management [ Other Info ] * This is submitted for oracular even if EOL is soon as the validation/certification is currently happening on this kernel. ** Affects: linux (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: Fix Released ** Affects: linux (Ubuntu Oracular) Importance: High Assignee: Thibault Ferrante (thibf) Status: In Progress ** Affects: linux (Ubuntu Plucky) Importance: High Assignee: Thibault Ferrante (thibf) Status: In Progress ** Information type changed from Proprietary to Public ** Also affects: linux (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New ** Also affects: linux (Ubuntu Oracular) Importance: Undecided Status: New ** Also affects: linux (Ubuntu Plucky) Importance: Undecided Status: New ** No longer affects: kobuk ** Changed in: linux (Ubuntu) Status: New => Fix Released ** Changed in: linux (Ubuntu Oracular) Assignee: (unassigned) => Thibault Ferrante (thibf) ** Changed in: linux (Ubuntu Plucky) Assignee: (unassigned) => Thibault Ferrante (thibf) ** Changed in: linux (Ubuntu Oracular) Status: New => In Progress ** Changed in: linux (Ubuntu Plucky) Importance: Undecided => High ** Changed in: linux (Ubuntu Plucky) Status: New => In Progress ** Changed in: linux (Ubuntu Oracular) Importance: Undecided => High -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Kernel Packages, which is subscribed to linux in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/2112469 Title: Fix ARL-U/H suspend issues Status in linux package in Ubuntu: Fix Released Status in linux source package in Oracular: In Progress Status in linux source package in Plucky: In Progress Bug description: [ Impact ] * Multiple issues are noticed when validating Arrow Lake hardware after suspend.
