Mirza, without assigning a package as requested in comment #1 your bug report will not be brought to the attention of anyone that can help.
https://wiki.ubuntu.com/Bugs/FindRightPackage#Suspend_and_Hibernate suggests that the Linux kernel might be the errant package based on comment #4 so I'm moving this to the 'linux' package. Please execute the following command only once, as it will automatically gather debugging information, in a terminal: apport-collect 2092578 When reporting bugs in the future please use apport by using 'ubuntu- bug' and the name of the package affected. You can learn more about this functionality at https://wiki.ubuntu.com/ReportingBugs. ** Package changed: ubuntu => linux (Ubuntu) ** Tags added: oracular -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Kernel Packages, which is subscribed to linux in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/2092578 Title: If HDMI is unplugged during sleep, Gnome will note remove it Status in linux package in Ubuntu: New Bug description: When TV cable (HDMI) is disconnected from the laptop, in gnome- control-center, display section, I can see that second display ("LG TV") is still there. This leads to multiple inconveniences: - Some new windows might open on this secondary display, so there is no way to access it. It looks like app is running invisible. - Audio output is still switched to LG TV. Perhaps it would switch back to laptop, if LG TV was removed as an output on cable unplug.
