Hello Mutamammil, thank you for reporting this issue.

Looking back, is there a time when the issue did not happen? Was there a
specific update which seemed to cause the behavior? I'm trying to
establish a starting point that will help in debugging.

In running a quick search, it seems that there are known issues with
this behavior and your machine type, some of which include workarounds
which seem to fix the problem. Please let me know if you have tried any
of these suggestions and whether they have changed the behavior.

Here is one instance: https://askubuntu.com/questions/1434628/msi-
modern-14b5m-screen-brightness-changing-randomly

Also, please let me know whether you are able to install packages with
apt. This will be helpful in case we decide to try some test kernels.

Please let me know.
