Problem related to the nouveau driver.
when right clicking the sub menu flickers, after a few times the system freezes.
I can't find a compatible driver.

Bug description:
Upgrading my Thinkpad T510 from Kubuntu 23.10 to 24.10 worked fine but the
system freezes after some minmal activity with the kernel 6.8.0-36-generic.
No chance to check any log files or check for other issues. System freezes
completly.
Booting with advanced options and choosing the old 23.20 kernel
(version 6.5.0-28-generic) works perfectly fine.
