Hi Gao, this just got merged to the noble:linux-azure tree [1], and will be picked up in the 6.8.0-1021.24 release of the noble:linux-azure kernel.
This was actually missed in this specific kernel due to unfortunate timing (it was prepared before the patch adding erofs to linux-modules in the generic 24.04 kernel [2] got merged); it shouldn't happen from Oracular onwards. Since squashfs is already included in linux-modules, let's include erofs in linux-modules as well so that it can be used as a filesystem in virtual machines with just linux-virtual installed. [Fix] Clean cherry-pick to the noble tree. [Test plan] Build and boot tested; also installed the generated linux-image and linux-modules packages to confirm that the erofs module could be loaded with "modprobe erofs". [Where problems could occur] Very small risk of regressions.
