Seeing quite a few "/var/log/syslog'[6] write error - see
https://www.rsyslog.com/solving-rsyslog-write-errors/ for help OS error:
No space left on device" messages in the journal. Could you run a:

$ df -h

Check if any of the file systems are full.

Title:
  system crashes on lid close

Status in linux package in Ubuntu:

Bug description:
  This has happened twice recently; I think it was after a recent
  update.

  The computer will crash and reboot after I close the lid.

  When I re-open the lid the screen is blank with no program open; it
  only began happening in the last 5 days.
