You have been subscribed to a public bug: my laptop fails to go into the suspend mode after applying the updates. I believe this is because of the kernel, kernel versions later than 6.8.0-41 have this common issue. We have more than 100 Ubuntu laptops and all are facing the same issue, laptop's with kernel version later than 6.8.0-41 fails to go into the suspend mode and the processes keeps running in the background, maker laptop warmer. I have raised request with manufacturers but they are saying that the issue is from the Ubuntu side.
