When you, the amorphous Ubuntu programmers, write a new bloody kernel; make damn sure the kernel is validated, verified and reliable. It pisses me off to no end to have constant updates for the kernel and other aspects of Linux. There is absolutely no reason for so many updates! It is a sign of poor programming if you need update the entire kernel every couple of weeks! Because you people are constantly updating the kernel, you are prone to human error, hence, the constant breaks with each new kernel version. Then, the process of bug reporting begins all over again! I guess this is some sort of job security, but it is a sign this OS is truly poorly written. I am considering another...
