Title: Thermald does not control fans on MacPro 7,1 using intel coretemp Status in thermald package in Ubuntu: New Bug description: The MacPro 7,1 desktop computer has no fan control based on the installed three fans when installing Ubuntu. The only way to get the fans to respond and even work is using the following workaround: https://wiki.t2linux.org/guides/fan/ installing t2fanrd after enabling the t2-ubuntu-repo https://github.com/AdityaGarg8/t2-ubuntu-repo#apt-repository- for-t2-macs It appears this should be mainlined.
