Title:
  thinkbook volume buttons don't work

Status in linux package in Ubuntu:
  Expired

Bug description:
My laptop is a thinkbook 14 g6 abp and this issue occurs on every
distro I tried and in different desktop environments. If I quickly tap
or hold down either volume key; the key will then repeatedly press
itself forever even after I stop holding the button. The only way to
stop it by pressing either key for a specific amount of time which
will make it change the volume normally.

  The distros I tried were:
  Kubuntu 24.04 (plasma)
  Linux Mint 21.3 (cinnamon)
  Fedora 40 (plasma)
  Debian 12.6 (xfce)
