**I have a bunch of other problems, that **could** be related? #2078572, #2078564,#2078571. And the system crashes almost daily. 'Crash'? I tried to look through the previous dmesg, kern, journalctl, whatnot. Nothing to be seen. The system simply stops responding to any input, except of a looong pressing of the power button (it's in principle a tablet PC). After shutdown, which it sometimes does, mostly not (then it gets stuck after everything IS off; see journalctl), until I press the power button. And if it does shut down respectively 'restart', it doesn't. No power button action can bring it back; only waiting for half an hour, and then mostly the application of the power supply (it is set start with coming up of the power supply in the BIOS). All pretty much getting on my nerves.
As I wrote, I don't know if any of these are in some way related, but I can confirm that the drive is okay, and so is the hardware: There is W10 installed in parallel, and it works, sorry to say, perfectly okay, shuts down, reboots, mounts the same drives, stays responsive. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Kernel Packages, which is subscribed to linux in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/2080355 Title: Kernel trouble, with some trace, 6.8.0-44-generic Status in linux package in Ubuntu: Incomplete Bug description: Since the release upgrade 22.04 to 24.04.1, I have a bunch a problems; starting with the kernel at boot, later on with udev.
