- Dear Members!
-
- No wifi adapter detected on ubuntu, on win11 it works fine
-
- lsb_release -rd
- Description: Ubuntu 22.04.3 LTS
- Release: 22.04
- But wifi failed to manifest on previous versions and on the upcoming 24.04 as
well
- -----------------------------------
-
-
- tethering works
- bluetooth works fine
- no soft block / no hard block
-
- "Additional drivers" empty
- "ethernet interface" never tried but it is detected
- "lspci" doesnt show wifi
- "lshw -C network" doesnt show wifi
-
- did a woodoo with iwlwifi-7265-ucode-25.30.14.0 file, copied files to
firmware folder, it must have failed since still no wifi.
- I have done a couple other things in vain, glad to repeat for the sake of
practice and result.
