The fix has been upstreamed in v6.5-rc1 as commit 3537d6a48c50 ("drm/amd: Make sure image is written to trigger VBIOS image update flow"). It follows the only thing left behind is linux/lunar, which is affected by commit 8424f2ccb3c0 ("drm/amdgpu/psp: Add vbflash sysfs interface support") and neither stable linux-6.2.y and Ubuntu lunar master-next doesn't have the fix yet.
