Title:
Kernel 6.2.0-26 does not boot
Status in linux package in Ubuntu:
Fix Released
Bug description:
My Ubuntu 22.04.3 LTS auto updated from kernel 5.19.0-46-generic to
6.2.0-26-generic.
The new kernel does not boot. It stops right after the following warnings:
/dev/nvme0n1p7: clean etc.
dell_smbios: Unable to run on non-Dell system
usb 1-7: 3:3: cannot set freq 24000 to ep 0x82
The PC is a Dell Alienware Aurora R13.
If I let it start in recovery mode and then resume boot, it works, but
among other it does not recognize two screens. This "ubuntu-bug" was
done after booting in this way.
The old kernel boots fine.
