Thanks for filing this. I'm also seeing similar behavior (suspend appears to work, but wakes up immediately to a locked screen). I'm also on nouveau drivers.

Instead it looks like its going to suspend, and then wakes up but with a locked screen. When I use `pm-suspend` from the command line, it suspends the system, but does not lock the screen. I have the Settings -> Privacy -> Screen Lock -> "Lock Screen on Suspend" setting enabled. I am using the Nouveau driver, with Wayland, using GNOME 44.2. This bug only started when I switched away from using any of the NVIDIA drivers, so its probably partially Nouveau related. Switching back to the NVIDIA drivers (I tried them all) isn't an option, because they break: 1. External monitor connectivity 2.
