** Description changed:
+ [Impact]
+
Would it be possible to move the "nbd" kernel module from linux-modules-
extra-raspi into linux-modules-raspi? This would enable NBD-based
network boot (which has certain advantages over the NFS-based network
boot more traditional in the Pi world, such as permitting services that
refuse to run on NFS -- like snapd).
+
+ [Test Case]
+
+ Verify that linux-modules package provides nbd.ko
+
+ [Where Problems Could Occur]
+
+ Existing module moved and exposed to potentially more users. As always
+ with modules: Kernel crashes, stack traces, hangs,...
** Also affects: linux-raspi (Ubuntu Lunar)
Importance: Undecided
Status: New
