By the way at the information attached it says (probably is a fresh
install) and it is, I did it to try to solve the problem but I been
experiencing this problem a long time ago both batteries are working
fine I can use them for a few hours, but as I said whenever the computer
tries to switch batteries the system shuts down spontaneously

Title:
  spontaneous shutdown

Status in linux-signed-hwe-5.19 package in Ubuntu:
  New

Bug description:
I use a T470 Thinkpad with two batteries, the problem occurs when one
of the batteries drains, The computer does not try to switch to the
other battery. It just shutdown and when I turn on my computer again
the battery that supposed to be switch is being used. My English is
not so well, but just think about two batteries both at 100 %, one of
them goes to 0%, and when it supposed to switch to the other one, the
computer just shutdown immediately. I believe is a kernel issue
because of the problem itself but I really donĀ“t know. If you guys
need something else to find a solution to this, please let me know.
