When starting the laptop with kernel 6.3.0-7 on Mantic Minotaur, the
system freezes early in the boot process even before the GRUB background
image gets replaced.
Trying to boot the rescue system and resuming hangs at a white non-
blinking underscore cursor in the upper left corner.
Booting into the system with the earlier 6.2.0-21 works without any
issues.
