Public bug reported: [Impact] PSR flickering on SHP 5457 was workarounded by a quirk. Use proper fix from upstream instead.
[Fix] Update AUX sync pulse to follow eDP spec. [Test] Use naked eye to ensure the issue is not observed when the fix gets applied. [Where problems could occur] The fix relax the parameter to make eDP work. Though unlikely, DP on i915 might break. ** Affects: linux (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: Incomplete ** Affects: linux (Ubuntu Lunar) Importance: Medium Status: Confirmed ** Also affects: linux (Ubuntu Lunar) Importance: Undecided Status: New ** Changed in: linux (Ubuntu Lunar) Status: New => Confirmed ** Changed in: linux (Ubuntu Lunar) Importance: Undecided => Medium -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Kernel Packages, which is subscribed to linux in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/2018655 Title: Update I915 PSR calculation on Linux 6.2 Status in linux package in Ubuntu: Incomplete Status in linux source package in Lunar: Confirmed Bug description: [Impact] PSR flickering on SHP 5457 was workarounded by a quirk.
