uname -r 5.19.0-40-generic The touchpad (VEN_04F3:00 04F3:31D1) stops working intermittently when resumed from hibernate or after a reboot. In most cases, it seems that the kernel fails to recognize it. Issue also appears with older kernels all the way up to v5.15. During boot, the following error appears: i2c_hid_acpi i2c-VEN_04F3:00 failed to reset device: -61 Dell touchpad firmware has been updated to the latest version 2023.04.03.423, A02 (as of 23-04-2023, issue still persists): https://www.dell.com/support/home/en-uk/drivers/driversdetails?driverid=yd0v6&oscode=ubt22&productcode=xps-13-9320-laptop Dell BIOS has been updated to the latest version 2.1.0 (as of 23-04-2023, issue still persists): https://www.dell.com/support/home/en-uk/drivers/driversdetails?driverid=mh38g&oscode=ubt22&productcode=xps-13-9320-laptop Switching from Wayland to X11 also has no effect.
