You have been subscribed to a public bug: Ubuntu can't see my wifi adapter since 5.19.0-40 kernel update (works wih 5.19.0-38)
The bug is described in this answer: https://answers.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+question/706179 The cause is that a check has been introduced on max_flowrings > 256 (https://patchwork.kernel.org/project/linux- wireless/patch/20220929031001.9962-3-ian....@infineon.com/) being accounted for a faulty device behaviour when it's the default value for the asus AC88 wifi adapter. Can the check be removed or the value increased so that I can use my wifi adapter ? see also: https://www.reddit.com/r/archlinux/comments/104pqv9/no_wifi_since_kernel_update_yesterday/ ** Affects: linux (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- No wifi with AC88 since 5.19.0-40: increase max_flowrings limit 256 to 512 https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/2016461 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Kernel Packages, which is subscribed to linux in Ubuntu. -- Mailing list: https://launchpad.net/~kernel-packages Post to : kernel-packages@lists.launchpad.net Unsubscribe : https://launchpad.net/~kernel-packages More help : https://help.launchpad.net/ListHelp
